The movement is a 2416B automatic 31 Jewel mechanical movement. Vostok has used this movement in depth for many years and it proved to be reliable. Totally watches run at least 31 hours and the average length of service is ten years.
Most cases are made of stainless steel. They are robust and durable – made for men assets which would beat them from time to time. This watch is not going to fall apart when you drop it.
Goes Vostok Amphibia the best watch for under $ 50? There are many watches in this price category and Amphibia is certainly a good choice depending on whether or not you love style and design. From my point of view, the Vostok Amphibia gives you a lot for your money and is a wonderful tool. I have yet to see another show this integrated mechanical quality this low a price. If I find anyone, I'll buy.
When purchasing this watch be aware that Vostok sells some models in of "Amphibia" or "Amphibian" series at a point slightly higher price. These models are the Red Sea, Black Sea, diving, Reef and Seaman. They retail for between one and two hundred dollars.
