Restaurant submarine Ithaa to Conrad Maldives
This restaurant is the only of its kind in the world and sits five feet below the waves of the Indian Ocean, surrounded on all sides by a reef Reef. Diners are rewarded with 270 Panoramic views of the underwater area, while the rays and angel fish drift serenely past. Ithaa is exclusive super and it has room for only fourteen people at once. However, when Tom Cruise Katie Holmes was there for their honeymoon, he had ensured he had reserved the entire restaurant so the couple could enjoy the Maldivian cuisine without interruptions. You may be forgiven for thinking that the food is a back-seat to the views in Ithaa, but you would be completely false. The contemporary cuisine is a mixture of western dishes and the Maldives, with all presented the guests with a pearl shape at the end of their meal.
24 degrees at Taj Exotica
With the Maldives in the middle of the ocean Indian, you can imagine that would curry dishes especially well. This is certainly true, and if the curry is your thing, then be sure to head to 24 degrees during your holiday in Maldives. The restaurant is located in the luxury resort in the Maldives and Taj Exotica is entirely outdoors. It opens early in the morning and is open until Later that night, so you can dine under the stars. Traditional dishes, serving breakfast are known throughout the island, but evening curry dishes that attract visitors from afar. The restaurant has many vegetarian dishes and vegetable curry traditional Maldivian is particularly remarkable. The deserts are to die, and we strongly recommend to try the passion fruit sauce on your holiday in Maldives.
Ocean Pavilion
If you want your holiday to the Maldives to be particularly romantic, you can arrange a meal for two at the Ocean Pavilion. The Pavilion is a stand alone wooden bridge in the middle of the Indian Ocean and located a mile offshore. The bridge is accessible only by boat and if you decide you want treated a loved one with this experience, then the staff you browse the site by boat and leave you with a mobile phone, so you can call them when you will be collected. Because of the location, all food is served cold – lobster, caviar and chilled champagne while the device on the menu. The pavilion is decorated comfortable cushions, candles, lanterns and flowers are all used to make this place a little more romantic.
