As our journey through history brings us to the Copper Age, I'd be remiss not to discuss Otzi the Iceman.
Otzi the Iceman died fighting. Their weapons consisted of a copper ax with a yew handle, an ash treated flint knife, fourteen arrows Made From vibernum and dogwoods, and a 6 foot long bow Made From yew.
There were others with him, how we do not know, we do not know against whom he fought. However, although at first it was thought to have died of exposure, an arrowhead flint was found in his shoulder. DNA found on her clothing, the blood of four others were found.
It was a small man about 5 feet 5 inches tall and a wispy 110 pounds. But even so it seemed he may have well hung one his companions on his shoulder, presumably to try and help him to safety.
