Catalog Art: Impressionist and Post-Impressionist

Artist in France in the early 19th century, formed a revolutionary artistic movement that departs from the romantic and realistic painting their time to paint nature and everyday life in the open air using the new "sketch-like" techniques and applications of pigmented paint. In its wake, this artistic revolution influenced a new generation of European-American post-Impressionist artists that other have experimented with abstract expressionism and the use of applications of paint, materials, shapes and colors.
Today, it are many works of Impressionist and Post-Impressionist artists in all media throughout the world. • Claude Monet, Claude Monet is a french painter regarded as the initiator and the main supporter of the Impressionist movement in painting in 19th century France.
